- Many people expect that, if they order website creation from a company, then their website must be pretty, modern and contain a whole bunch of eye-catching gadgets. This strategy doesn’t work on the Internet.

On the Internet, it’s not the flashy things that make people visit a website. Information is the most important thing. That’s because Internet users are searching for information and Internet search engines direct them to certain websites, not others, by filtering this information.

The search engine doesn’t care whether a given website is pink or black-and-white. Whether a website has animated banners or a nice font has absolutely no bearing on search results. The informational content is the most important.

And when an Internet user visits a website, shiny objects meant to draw attention are completely useless. A potential Customer is already where they want to be.
