There are as many definitions as there are people. But hold on, I already ordered the creation of a company website from someone – you are probably thinking. An agency that promised to help you “position yourself” on the Internet made a pretty website for your company and made sure that you were displayed high on the list of search results for certain keywords. And that didn’t give you any new customers at all.
Worse still, you had to pay dearly for it, often in advance. Have you ever wondered why you have to pay for the creation of a website before you even check if you will gain new customers through it? Exactly. If it doesn't increase your profits, its useless, but you have to pay for it anyway. That is dishonest. You should pay if you get something of value in return, not for an empty promise that you may gain something if you’re lucky, if the moon is in the right phase, or if a dog barks thrice on a cloudless night. That’s just dishonest – have we already said that?
