Before you begin collaboration with INFORMATION DESIRED and entrust us with the task of caring for your company’s online presence you have to know one thing: we must cooperate. You must take an active part in the creation of your website.
It's true that INFORMATION DESIRED assumes all of the risk. It is we who invest in your website and you pay for nothing until you are convinced that you get benefits from it.
It's also true that, because of this, you don’t have to pay any mind to the technology used to build your website or to the marketing tools applied to operate effectively on the Internet. Since you don’t pay in advance for this you don't need to have Ph.D. to make the right decisions. So we take all the responsibility off your shoulders.
But that doesn’t mean that you don't have to care about anything after starting collaboration with INFORMATION DESIRED. You forget about us and only wait for the effects. Quite the opposite! When we make the mutual decision to work together you have to work with us. Because without you we won’t be able to do anything.
How does it work?
You already know that our job is to provide “Information Desired” about your company to the Internet. This is information constructed in such a way that it reaches the people who desire it, who are looking for precisely the service or product that your company offers. In this way, we reach customers and even educate them about the scope of the service so that when they call you they have nearly decided that they will use your service.
But after all, we have to take this information about your company and your services from somewhere. And that's where you come in. You just have to tell us about what you do.
Do you think that, since you have a limited package of services it’s enough that you meet us once, talk about your offer and that’s it? That's not how it works. “Information Desired” isn’t just information about your products or services. On your new website you should also share information about what’s going on at your company, describe new projects that you undertake on a regular basis, as well as the challenges you face when realizing an atypical order. Hence, you must provide us with information regularly.
Fear not, we will not expect you to write anything for us or harass you with daily phone calls. We know perfectly well how many responsibilities every Business Owner has so we won't take any more of your precious time than necessary.
Here’s how it works in practice:
The editor who will be creating content for your new website will contact you every so often to have enough material to write three articles per week. He’ll call you, ask you a few questions, record your responses and on this basis he will create more articles for the website. Of course, he won’t call you without letting you know in advance. You can schedule a conference call so that it fits into your calendar.
If you prefer personal contact and the editor is from your city you can also invite him for a talk to your office or arrange a meeting at a café.
You can also arrange for the editor to send you questions via e-mail and you will answer them at your leisure when it is most convenient for you – maybe in the evening when you’re sitting in an armchair with a cup of hot tea? It's important for you to record your answers on a voice recorder (every smartphone has this function these days). Recording will definitely take up much less time than putting your answers in writing. It’s enough that you will send back the recording to the editor and he will process and edit appropriatelythe information you provided.
As for the form of contact, you will arrange that together with the editor. One way or another, remember: to achieve success together it is critical for you to provide us information regularly. If not, your website will simply cease to be “alive” and there’s nothing we can do to change that.
